Graduating Eagles

Graduating Eagles - Soaring into the Future

Look where our Eagles are going this year...Tell us your story.  Each year a new group of Eagles heads off to college, the military, or other adventures.   Nick Bazett of Troop 550 is the valedictorian of his class and will be going to UCLA to major in biochemistry.  This is his first step for his long-term goal of becoming a physician.  Jonathan McDaniels is headed to Southern Oregon University to study Music Education with a goal of becoming a high school orchestra teacher.

Before heading off to college some of our Eagle have impressive summer plans.  Matthew Wong of Troop 139 will be a ranger at Philmont Scout Ranch.  Patrick Carlock, also of Troop 139 will spend three weeks in Northern Europe.  Nick Bazett of Troop 550 will be scuba diving in Fiji.  Congratulations to all the Graduating Eagles of the Golden Empire Council.  (read more)

Yes, even if you just took the earlier version or are current within the past two (2) years, everyone will need to complete the new version.  Go to my.scouting.org to complete your YPT2 training.
