Yolano District Recognition Dinner Nominations

You will be invited to make a nomination on behalf of your unit for presentation at the Yolano District BSA Recognition Evening on May 7, 2020.  Nominations will be due Midnight Friday, April 17th, 2020. Deliver to Mark Wong at 2744 Del Rio Place, Suite 100, Davis, CA 95618 or email to awards@ydbsa.org. There are several categories of awards:

District Awards for notable leaders from these categories:

Scouting Family of the Year

Cubmaster of the Year

Scoutmaster of the Year

Venturing Leader of the Year

Den Leader of the Year

Webelos Den Leader of the Year

Committee Chair of the Year

Unit Notable Leader

For any nominations, click on the links above and complete the attached forms and send them to Mark Wong via email (awards@ydbsa.org) or snail mail to his office at 2744 Del Rio Pl, Ste 100 Davis, CA 95618. They can also be handed to Mark in person or dropped off at his office. Nominations are due by 9:00 PM April 18th, 2019. If there are any questions, use his email (awards@ydbsa.org) ONLY.

Anyone may make a nomination. The Yolo Recognition Committee will make the final selections from the nominees and prepare the awards.

Recognition Dinner Information

As you know, recognition should be done in public and in a grand way and it is very important to recognize our hard working volunteer leaders. This is our once a year opportunity to acknowledge our leaders and their families.  The District Recognition Event is an important aspect of Scouting and we hope your unit make an effort to attend.  All are invited. The evening will feature a dinner and has a door charge to defray expenses. Please do event registration on the council website for this event.
