Adult Leader Training

Every Scout deserves a trained leader! Don't you agree? Please visit our district training page which is contstantly being updated with the latest training news.  Need the dates for that upcoming training? Need more information on what makes a trained leader or advanced training like Woodbadge?

Friends of Scouting - $12,576 raised towards our $97,500 goal!

The 2012 giving season under the leadership of Stuart Stackhouse, Friends of Scouting Chairman, is in full swing.  A presenter will be at your upcoming Blue & Gold or Court of Honor to talk about Friends of Scouting and encourage your family to make donation in support of Scouting.  Interested in helping raise money in support of Scouting?  Please contact Stuart at s_stackhouse@comcast.net or Brian Casper at bcasper@gecbsa.org.

Eagle Scout Advancement

Are you ready to start your Eagle Scout Service Project? If so, you need to call Larry Hyde, District Advancement Chairman, at (530) 676-5957 before you do anything else.  Folsom Scouts can begin calling Larry for help in getting approval for your Eagle Scout Service Project.  Great job to the Scouts who have made it this far but DO NOT give up; finish your project and get your Eagle Scout rank.  You will regret it forever if you don't.
