Intel Involved Matching Grant Program

Please keep track of your hours served to Scouting during 2012
January 2013 is the deadline for when Intel employees & retirees can log their 2012 volunteer hours for their favorite non-profits and schools. Remember, Intel rewards your organization $10 for every hour you volunteer so be sure to keep track of all your hours all year long.
Below are directions, provided by Intel, for logging your hours. Please remember that not all scouting units qualify for Intel Involved hours; your Chartering Organization must have the IRS designation 501(c)3 to qualify, If your unit does not quality, please indicate you would like your hours to be credited to the Golden Empire Council (Boy Scouts of America Golden Empire Council - ID# 0004384). By doing this it ensures the donation for your hours goes directly to Scouting.

"The Intel Involved Matching Grant Program aims to recognize and motivate Intel employees, globally, to engage in outreach and volunteerism to make our communities a better place to live, work, and play. Its objective is to support employees’ giving their time and talent to qualified non profits and non-governmental organizations, in addition to schools. We also wanted to recognize our employees who give generously of their time beyond school-related activities, and give them the opportunity to earn money for organizations that are meaningful to them."
