District Information

Iron Horse is the name used by American Indians to describe the railroad engines that began crossing the country in the nineteenth century.

It is here, in the Roseville California area, that a major hub for the railroads came to be. Scouting has always been respectful of the American Indian and their ways so we have adopted Iron Horse for our name.
