2007 Silver Bear

Recipients
awarded at the district dinner March 29, 2008

The climax and highlight of this evening’s dinner is the presentation of the District Award of Merit, or the Silver Bear Award.

Candidates are nominated by their peers in the unit or district, then an impartial panel of recipients weighs the merits of these Scouters.  Districts are allowed 1 award for every 25 units, so Iron Horse’s 57 units allow the presentation of 3 awards.  Conferring these honors is Chairman of the district Training Team and Silver Bear Committee, Molly Mahlman.
