WEBELOS SCOUTS

Webelos Scouts are invited to the Merit Badge Pow-Wow.  The Webelos Scout portion of the program with focus on assisting the Webelos Scouts in the Citizen, Readyman, Outdoorsman and Forester Activity Badges, although some requirements must be completed outside of the Pow-Wow.  The courses will be taught, in part, by Boy Scouts and will provide the Webelos Scouts interaction with Boy Scouts and more contact with the Boy Scouts of America program.  Please note that each Pack must have two adult leaders in attendance with their Webelos.

 

KEY NOTES  FOR 2008

           

1.  The Webelos Program may be limited to the first eighteen (18) Webelos Scouts per activity badge, per session, so sign up early.

 

2.  A snack bar will be available and provide Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and Tri-Tip Sandwiches for lunch.  Webelos may bring a sack lunch if they like.  NOTE:  ALL CAMPUS VENDING MACHINES WILL BE OFF-LIMITS TO SCOUTS.

 

3.  The College Cafeteria will be the headquarters for the Pow-Wow.

 

4.  Webelos need to bring their Webelos books to be signed off at the Pow-Wow.  Webelos are to be in Class A Uniform.  Any Webelos not in proper uniform will be referred to his Cubmaster rather than attending the programs.  Bicycles and electronic devices are prohibited.

 

5.  Each Webelos is responsible for having read the applicable portions of the Cub Scout Webelos Handbook before attending the program.

 

6.  Each Webelos who completes the activity program will receive a Merit Badge Pow-Wow patch.
