Eagle Scout Resources
The final steps in a Boy Scout’s Trail to Eagle are:
- completing his Eagle Scout Service Project,
- earning the necessary Merit Badges,
- completing his leadership and service time,
- and submitting his Eagle Rank Application.
These all must be done before the Scout’s 18th Birthday.
In the words of Robert J. Mazzuca, Chief Scout Executive for the Boy Scouts of America, “Think of your Eagle Scout Service Project as the ultimate application of what you have learned thus far in Scouting. Leadership…responsibility…managing projects…applying your Scout Oath—to help other people”.
