 A Merit Badge Day Camp will be held October 17, 2009 at the Mormon Center on 2100 California Circle Rancho Cordova. The camp will start at 8:00 am. A list of merit badges will be ready for distribution in April or early May. |

 Amador District Round Table is for adult leaders of Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, Varsity Teams, and Venture Crews. This program offers on-going training, help and ideas to enrich your scouting experince and to improve your unit's program. Round Table is held every third Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 12924 Ridge Road in Sutter Creek, at 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. | Rio Del Oro - National Jamboree |

 As of November 6 over 237 scouts from the Golden Empire Council have signed up to attend the 2010 National Jamboree. Our goal is to send 288 scouts to the Jamboree. Less than 50 spaces are available and are filling fast. The opportunity to participate in the 2010 National Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill, to tour the Washington D.C. area, and to celebrate 100 years of scouting in the United States is a once in a life opportunity. Complete an application and submit it to the council office by January to ensure your slot in this great adventure.
