District Roundtable
District Roundtable is the monthly training meeting for all forms of scouting. There are announcements, programs, and break-outs for all groups: Cubs, Boy Scouts, Ventures, and Leaders. We meet the third Thursday of every month at 7:30 pm at the Rocklin Stake Center of the LDS Church (Room 15), 2610 Sierra Meadows Dr. Rocklin, CA. Depending on the month, any of the following may be occurring. Check the roundtable calendar for what is happening when.
Directions: From Interstate 80, take the Rocklin Road exit. Turn toward the Town of Rocklin (West). Turn right at the Stoplight (Granite Drive). Go to the next Stoplight (Sierra Meadows Drive) and turn left. Turn at the next left into the Church parking lot.
From Lincoln, take 193 East to Sierra College Blvd. Turn onto Sierra College and go over the ridge and past Taylor Road to Granite Drive. Go to Sierra Meadows Drive (across from Blockbuster Video) and turn right. Turn at the next left into the Church parking lot.
- Youth Protection and Fingerprinting
- Life to Eagle Seminar for Life Scouts and their parents and anyone else (like unit advancement person) who wants to know more about how to apply for Eagle (what paperwork is necessary and how to fill it out correctly). Ask questions of the Dist. Advancement Chairman.
- General Cub Leader Training - a session every month for making the Cub Scout program strong.
- General Boy Scout Leader Training - Meet with other Boy Scout leaders to trade ideas, solutions, and hear expert presentations.
- Safe Swim/Safety Afloat
- Risk Zone/Liability for Cubs
- Risk Zone/Liability for Boy Scouts/Ventures
