Camp Robert L. Cole (formerly Glacial Trails)
Camp Cole offers Scouts a fantastic summer adventure. A wilderness camp located seven miles north of Cisco Grove, California off of I-80 at an elevation of 6700', each unit has its own campsite. Scouts camp in tents, cooking their meals by patrols, or eating at our new dinning facility. The Camp Cole program includes opportunities for advancement for scouts seeking First Class, as well as challenges to those seeking high adventure. The Glacial Trek is a six-day, 50-mile trek through mountainous terrain, sparkling lakes and streams. Trout abound in the cold waters of the high mountain backcountry lakes, and the views are breath taking. Camp Cole also offers Mountain Biking Treks, Rock Climbing, Mountain man Program, and a unique Build Your Own Program week.
Camp Lassen
Camp Lassen is located forty-five minutes east of Chico off Highway 32 near Butte Meadows, California. At an elevation of 4800' amidst beautiful evergreen trees, Camp Lassen offers both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts a traditional scouting program The Cub Scouts experience a theme-oriented program during their stay. Boy Scouts not only earn merit badges, but have the opportunity to face an outstanding C.O.P.E. course; one of the BEST IN THE WEST. Horseback riding, mountain bikes, and the fantastic and unique Lassen to Lassen High Adventure Backpacking Trek are available for the older scouts. A large dining hall, cabins, wall tents, or adirondacks round out your Camp Lassen incredible stay.

Camp Pahatsi
Camp Pahatsi is one of four Boy Scout summer camps operated by the Golden Empire Council, Sacramento, California. At 6700' altitude, Pahatsi is located just off I-80 at Soda Springs, California near Donner Summit. A full service camp, Camp Pahatsi offers a vast assortment of Scouting programs designed to appeal to a great number of differing interests: from Cub Scout resident camping to the Eagle Trail; from mountain biking to skeet shooting; from family camping to high adventure activities; there is something for all ages. Excitement abounds sailing on Donner Lake, while relaxation call be had canoeing or kayaking on Lake Kilborn. Cubs and Scouts, as well as Teams and Posts, will find challenges at Pahatsi. Each unit has its own campsite with tents provided and central dining eating.

Camp Pollock
BIKE TRAILS....CITY hiking... CALIFORNIA'S CAPITOL TOURS...

Pollock represents a change of pace in its camp environment in an urban setting. Located in the heart of Sacramento along the American River, Camp Pollock offers the escape from the bustle of the city at the end of each day's outing, offering a unique camping experience. Troops seeking to individualize short-term camping outings can use this base for such activities as rafting on the American River, biking on the Jedediah Smith Memorial Bicycle Trail, or city-hiking in California's historic State capitol. Tour Old Sacramento's Train Museum then hop on the light rail for a ride back to the present Camp Pollock sites are available year-round by reservation only.

Camp Winton
Winton is located on Bear River Reservoir off Highway 88 above Jackson at an elevation of 4800'. It is accessible only by foot or by boat. Scouts hike in and the camp boat transports the troop gear. Units must provide their own tentage. Each unit has its own campsite and Scouts eat cafeteria style on picnic tables under the whispering pines along the beautiful waterfront. Aquatic activities are a specialty at Winton, with water-skiing, sailing, and motorboating among those of special interest to scouts. For the high adventurers, overnight canoe treks are available. A first-year scout program, shooting sports, rock climbing, nature and round out the traditional program at Winton. The new C.O.P.E. course provides additional challenge to the scouts. Camp: 28 acres, leased, comprise the Boy Scout Camp. Winter facilities available, skiing nearby at Dodge Ridge

3. Marin Sierra, Council #35, Marin

Directions: Donner Summit area. 5400' elevation. One mile west on highway 20 from Interstate 80, 3 hours from San Francisco.
Camp: The 320 acres of Camp Marin-Sierra are located in the redwoods of the Tahoe National Forest at an elevation between 5,500 and 5,600 feet. Lake Chub provides the camp with virtually all the aquatic programs Scouting has to offer except motor boating and waterskiing, which are conducted as a Hi-Adventure activity at nearby Lake Spalding. A notable point about Lake Chub is that it is approximately 30 feet deep in the middle and therefore one of the warmest lakes in the Sierra mountains. The camp has 13, variable sized, Troop campsites, with tent platforms, and centrally located but shared outhouses, running water and wood burning, boiler showers.

Directions: One mile west of Fairfax off Sir Francis Drake Blvd, 30 minutes from San Francisco.
Camp: Located in the heart of Marin County, this year round camp is located just two miles from Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Camp Tamarancho has over 480 acres of meadows, redwood forested campsites and three, 4 person cabins. Other facilities include a small kitchen, a meeting lodge, and the "Green Bar" training lodge. The camp is just 45 minutes from San Francisco.

Camp: About 100 acres of heavily forested campsites. Located among the redwoods, eight miles from the pacific ocean in Mendocino county California, Camp Navarro offers many opportunities for great times. Cabins and Adirondack Lean-Tos available.

Location/contact: Shaver Lake, CA
Directions: To get to Camp Chawanakee from Southern California, take Freeway 99 North to Freeway 41 in Fresno. Follow Freeway 41 north to Herndon Ave. Go east on Herndon to Tollhouse Road. Tollhouse Rd. is also Hwy 168. Turn left onto Hwy 168 and follow it for approximately 55 miles. Just before entering the town of Shaver Lake look for Dinkey Creek Rd. Turn right onto Dinkey Creek Rd. Follow Dinkey Creek Rd. for approximately 2 miles. Look for the wooden entry sign to Camp Chawanakee on the left side of the road. Turn left and follow the dirt road approximately 1.5 miles into our parking lot.
Camp: 110 acres at 5300 ft elevation on Shaver Lake. Camp Chawanakee sits among towering pines on a peninsula that is fondly referred to as "The Point."

Camp: On Huntington Lake, 75 miles northeast of Fresno.
High Adventure. The program offered is designed for the older Scouts that have completed most of their merit badges and rank advancements and are looking for something that is more exciting. With this in mind all Scouts will have to be 14 years and older by the time they arrive to camp. With the exception of the Wilderness Trek, all scouts will need a Class 2 Medical Record. Those that would like to participate in the Wilderness Trek program will need a Class 3 Medical Record. There will be no exceptions to this requirement on the Wilderness Trek.

The camp boasts of a quiet and serene camping atmosphere, a shower and restrooiii ficility that meets ADA standards, archery range, rifle range, family camp with tents and tent platforms, kitchen, swimming pool, picnic tibles, historical hiking trail, a great nature trail, camping area, chapel, and a pristine get-a-way meadow campground.

Directions: From Northern California take freeway 99 to the Herndon Ave exit East to Hwy 168. Follow Highway 168 East (about 90 Minutes) through the towns of Prather and Shaver Lake all the way to Huntington Lake. About a 1/4 mile along the north shore of Huntington Lake, just past Rancheria Marina, turn left into the Boy Scout Parking area. The camp barge will meet your troop at the boat landing at the west end of the parking lot. If you pass the U.S. Post Office you’ve gone about a quarter mile too far. The barge will carry your troop across Huntington Lake to Camp Kern for a full week of Scouting adventure!

Its location in the Berkeley Hills and its multiple facilities make it a highly used camp. The facilities include a meeting lodge with kitchen, campsites, and sleeping shelters.

Directions: Take highway 4 forty miles above Angels Camp to Big Meadows Campground. Just past campground, turn right and either park and walk or descend 2 miles down rough road to camp.
Camp: 42 acres surrounded by Forest Service land. Camp Wolfeboro is located on the north fork of the Stanislaus River at an elevation of 5500 feet. The Camp, located at the center of an 80-acre glacier sand flat, with tall lodgepole pines, towering talus slopes, high granite walls, together making up the setting for the majestic surroundings.

Directions: At Silver Lake, Kit Carson, Amador County. 58 miles east of Jackson on Highway 88. Go over bridge, turn right, follow signs to camp.
Camp: 30 acres. Camp Silverado sits in the shadow of 9400-foot Thunder Mountain above the hearily wooded shores of Silver Lake.Camp Silverado's elevation is 7400 feet.

Directions: At Lake Berryessa. Take Highway 121 from Napa. 3/10 of a mile past 2nd bridge at northern end of lake.
Camp: Camp Berryessa is located in Napa County at Putah Creek inlet to Lake Berryessa. The property is used for Camporees and training courses. The major feature of the camp is its waterfront and aquatic activities. Structures include three activity shelters, a bathroom/shower facility, BB gun and archery ranges, a chapel, and an amphitheater.

Camp: 2200 acres with 80 acre lake. Wente offers tall Douglas Fir and golden meadows with ane 80 acre lake offering a natural setting for swimming, sailing, boating, and canoeing.

Camp: 312 acres of redwood forested campsites and program areas. Resident camp is a chance for Webelos Scouts and their leaders and parents to come and find out what Scout camping is all about. Scouts attend with their Pack leaders or provisionally for a six day encampment and enjoy the facilities of Camp Royaneh. Camp Royaneh is located in the beautiful coastal redwoods near Cazadero in Sonoma County.
