Jamboree On The Air (JOTA)
JOTA is a world-wide event when Scout talk on amateur radio to other Scouts around the world. Our event is hosted at the amateur radio convention Pacificon. Come operate station W6BSA. No change to Scouts in uniform. Learn about radio, emergency communications and radio as a hobby. At the same time Internet connections will also allow supervised contact with other Scouts.

Jamboree On The Internet (JOTI)
| what: | At the same time as the JOTA the World Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) will take place. Scouts all over the world try to communicate with each other over the internet.
Jamboree-on-the-Internet, or JOTI, is an annual Scouting event sponsored by the World Scout Bureau of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. This event utilizes computers and the Internet. Thousands of Scout groups can be contacted during the weekend.In the United States, Cub Scout dens and Boy Scout patrols can meet and, under the supervision of leadership, make many new friends. |
