Now is the time to submit your nominations for Scouter Recognition at our annual dinner. The deadline for nominations is April 20, 2012.
The Recognition Evening will be on May 10, at the Woodland LDS Center in Davis at 8th and Elmwod. Dinner includes: Burritos: beef, chicken, vegetarian, side items, salad, beverages and desert. The cost is $8.00 for an individual and $14.00 for couples. Reservations are essential as the dinner is prepared to order.Program extras include magical entertainment at your table and on stage plus an Order of the Arrow Dance program.
Each year the Yolo District Recognition Evening celebrates adult leaders and parents for their contributions to the Yolo District Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity, and Venturing programs. Both District and Unit awards are presented, but for any awards to be given, we need nominations from your unit. The District Awards Committee accepts nominations throughout the year for the following awards. The deadline for nominations is April 20, 2012.
The program will have recognition awards for

* Scoutmaster of the Year
* Cubmaster of the Year
* Scouting Family of the Year
* Den Leader or Webelos Den Leader of the Year
* Fontline or Notable Leader Award
* Varsity & Venture Leaders of the Year
* Committee Leadership Award
* Commissioner of the Year Award
This is your chance to recognize your leaders and parents who make exceptional contributions to your unit. Submit nominations to Linda Paumer or Alice Aldous; their contact information is on the District Nomination Form.
