These photos are from Troop 4's 2004 Northern Tier Trek. From the Sommers Canoe Base on Moose Lake in Northern Minnesota, their crew covered 59 miles, 29 lakes and 28 portages through Boundary Waters and Canada's Quetico wilderness. To prepare for this trek, they had at least 6 conditioning outings over a year's time covering cooking, paddling, portaging, and just getting to know each other.
