Order High Adventure Patches & Awards
NOTE: Be sure to email the completed form to the HAT chair for approval before submitting to the Scout Shop!
As a part of the HAT Team's objective to "develop programs and incentives through special opportunities and awards that will motivate the members of the Scouting Program, both youth and adults, to challenge themselves to the experiences of adventure and the natural environment" the HAT Team has developed a set of awards and patches. All registered Scouts and adult leaders are eligble to earn these awards.

NOTE: You can also use Troop Masters 'Camping Days' Report to generate this information. Be sure to email these reports to the HAT Chairperson for approval before submitting to the Scout Shop!
The Golden Empire Council's High Adventure Awards are available through the Council's Scout Shops. Learn more at the Scout Shop's web page.
Once the requirements for an award are completed, the appropriate form needs to be completed and emailed to the HAT Chairperson for approval at hat.chair at gec-bsa dot org (replace the at with @ and the dot with . - we're trying to avoid spammers!). The approved Award Application will be returned to you by email. Take the approved Application to the Scout Shop to obtain your patches.
Other patch order forms will be available as soon as the Scout Shop has the patches in stock. Stay tuned!
Note that several High Adventure patches are sponsored by the Council or BSA National. This includes the 50 Miler patches, among others. Forms to apply for these awards are available from the Council's Forms web page.
