The Council's High Adventure Training (HAT) Team operates a moderated (no SPAM!) email discussion list hosted on the Council servers (secured access). The purpose of this list is to act as a forum for all Golden Empire Council units to share their high adventure experiences, ask questions, share answers, announce trek openings, and talk about just about anything to do with high adventure Scouting.
To participate in these discussions, you need to signup with the HAT list. You can do this by sending a request to the HAT Webmaster at hat.webmaster at gec-bsa dot org or by self registering at http://beta.genesisnetsolutions.com/mailman/listinfo/hatlist_gec-bsa.org .
After signing up with the HAT list, you can send messages to the list at hatlist at gec-bsa dot org. Messages from the list will come from this same email address so if you have a SPAM filter, you should add this address to youyr friends list to assure that you get the latest high adventure information.
