Please carefully read ALL of the instructions below to successfully register your Scout and allow him the best opportunity to successfully complete the merit badge on February 24th.  

In order to successfully complete the merit badge on February 24th, the Scout must complete ALL prerequisite requirements beforehand and show proof of completion to the Counselor. 

Some classes also have materials fees that are due to the Counselor

Note:  Some merit badge classes will result in a partial merit badge.  The Scout will be able to complete the merit badge afterwards and contact the counselor for the class, or another counselor in their District, to have it signed off.

Important Note:  This is  "Blue Card" event.  ALL Scouts are responsible for obtaining their own blue cards (Merit Badge Application), getting them signed by their Scoutmaster beforehand, bringing them to their merit badge classes, and returning completed merit badge cards to their Scoutmaster for the second signature (see the Guide To Advancement, Section 7).  Merit Badge Super Saturday is not responsible for recording, nor able to record, any merit badges in the BSA Internet Advancement system.

Breakfast, snack items, and lunch will be available for sale by the Order of the Arrow
at the OA snack booth. Lunch is $5.00 per person or bring a sack lunch.

Out of respect for the LDS Church, our hosting organization, please do not consume or use coffee, tea, or tobacco/smoking products, of any kind, onsite.

Registration: $5 per half-day session (up to 2 allowed), $10 for one all-day session

ONLINE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT ONLY.  No walk-ins.  Classes are filled first come, first served and there are no wait lists.  Register early, classes fill quickly.

To answer a number of frequently-asked questions:

  • There are no cancellations or changes or refunds
  • If a class is full, it's full.  No wait lists.
  • Registration and payment are online only
  • There will be no walk-ins
  • No additional classes will be added
  • Registration will close at 9:00 P.M. EST (6:00 P.M. PST) on February 17, 2018
  • Select only one AM and/or one PM class.  Check your cart before checking out.  You should only pay a maximum of $10 for one AM and PM class ($5 each), or, $10 for one all-day class.
  • Click on the "Choose Activities in Category" drop-down to change from AM to PM classes.
  • If a class is labeled #1 or #2, it only means that there are two classes at the same time with different counselors.  You only need to take one morning OR one afternoon session.  Do not register for both.
  • There will be no changing of classes on the day of the event
  • All Scouts should obtain (either purchase or obtain from their Troop), read, and study the current BSA merit badge booklet for any merit badge they are working on.  Bring the booklet to class.
  • For the Scout to complete the merit badge at the event, they must complete all of the prerequisites for that merit badge ahead of time. Please read ALL of the information and documents below.
  • "Be Prepared" applies to the entire event.
  • Scouts must bring their own merit badge applications (blue cards) signed by their Scoutmaster.
  • Some classes have materials fees which are paid directly to the merit badge Counselor at the beginning of the class.  Please check the documents below for any fees that apply to your merit badge.
