Are you a Webelos Den Leader or Assistant, a Bear Den Leader who will be moving up in the next year, or a Cubmaster or Committee Member who would like to know more about the Webelos program? Then join us for Outdoor Webelos Leader Training (OWL). OWL focuses on the outdoor portion of the Webelos Scout program:
Ø The Activity Badges of the Outdoor Group
Ø Outdoor Cooking
Ø Knot Tying
Ø Knife Safety
Ø Citizenship Training
Ø Webelos Den Camping
This training is mandatory for all Webelos Leaders who wish to take their dens camping!
The upcoming OWL will be held on Saturday, September 18th at the LDS Church located at 4075 Riverside Ave in Anderson. Check-in will begin at 7:30 am and the opening ceremony will start promptly at 8:00. The cost is $10, and includes breakfast, lunch, and all materials.
Please wear your field uniform, and bring a water bottle, pen & paper, and a smile.
Registration can be done online at http://www.gec-bsa.org/webpay/event and closes on September 11th. No late registrations will be accepted.
