To attend Powder Horn 2016 you must:

Must be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America

Adults must be fully trained for their position (training differs depending on position)

Be able to meet the requirements of BSA part A,B, and C for a back-country environment

Youth must be at least 14 years old & graduated the 8th grade AND registered in a Venturing Crew or Sea Scout Ship (youth does not need to be an active member of crew/ship. *Boy Scouts* First Class and Scoutmaster approval)

Youth must have completed leadership training for the unit they are registered in (ILSC/NYLT: Introduction to Leadership Skills Course or National Youth Leadership Training) OR have leadership experience

*Youth will need to answer additional questions during registration about leadership positions, trainings taken, and unit leader information. This information helps us place them in a crew.
*All Participants 18 years and older will need to be registered as adults (IncludingVenturing participants between 18 and 21 years old) and send verification of completion of Boy Scout Youth Protection Training and Venturing Youth Protection Training
**Youth is anyone under the age of 18.
Program highlights include Aquatics: Sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, scuba diving, Shooting sports: pistols, skeet shooting, Shot gun, black powder, Climbing, Repelling, Geocaching, Mountain biking, hiking, Hunting & Fishing and much much more!!
