Looking for fun sporting activities for your unit!? Your Scout can participate in archery, tomahawk throwing, gun safety, rifle and bb-gun classes! They’ll build confidence, personal discipline, responsibility, sportsmanship, and teamwork! Join in on the fun and compete in our annual GEC Shooting Sports events! Sign your child up today!

What is STEM!?
What is STEM!? STEM is a BSA program that offers Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics experience for youth! The Golden Empire Council offers an excellent STEM program! Our goal is to inspire boys and girls to be innovative, overcome challenges, and be on the cutting edge of scientific and technological discoveries! Our Nova program offers awards and recognition for Scouts in the STEM program.
Aquatics
Are you an Aquatics Enthusiast!?
We created an Aquatics Committee to ensure that every Scout and adult leader is properly trained on water safety. The goal is to provide the best water experience to every Scouting family in the program. If water safety is your passion this committee is for you! Learn more or sit in on our online meetings every 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:30PM.
Order of the arrow
What is OA!?
The Order of the Arrow is a recognition, awards, and leadership program for Scouts! Here your son or daughter will be recognized for living out the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. Your child will grow even stronger as a leader and receive training to take them to the next level. The OA is a model for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Golden Empire Council, Boy Scouts of America! Does your Scout qualify? Find out today!
